Special Photo Exhibit Featured at Conference
Central Americans for Empowerment (CAFÉ): The Central American Performance is a photo project aimed at exploring the intricate relationship between identity, culture, and visibility among Central American individuals at Yale University and within the broader New Haven community. Through the lens of different subjects, this exhibition delves into how the performance of Central American identity intersects with the experiences, challenges, and daily-lives of our subjects, shedding light on narratives often overlooked or misunderstood. 'The Central American Performance' seeks to empower and amplify the voices of our sometimes small yet vibrant community, fostering greater understanding and appreciation within our academic and local environments.
